On the morning of November 22nd , Professor Zhu Zhen of Suffolk University Boston visited the school and discussed the cooperative project of joint undergraduate-postgraduate and other matters with the school.
Liang Jie,dean of SOB, made an introduction on the situation of current cooperative projects in the school, and pointed out that the school hopes to work with Suffolk University Boston on teacher-student exchange visits, internship base construction, teachers exchange and cooperation, scientific research cooperation and other fields to strengthen the cooperation.
Zhu Zhen explained the latest developments in the current cooperative project, and put forward suggestions on the optimization of the project. Then, she introduced the experiences of Suffolk University Boston on internship base, teacher recruitment and other aspects, put forward her expectations on the cooperation project feedback, teacher cooperation and other aspects and expressed her expectation on further cooperation.
In the afternoon, the lecture on the project of joint undergraduate-postgraduate between School of Business and School of Legal Studies, GDUFS and Suffolk University Boston was held in teaching building F314, with Professor Zhu Zhen as the keynote speaker, and Yang Fan, associate dean of School of Legal Studiesas the host.
By introducing the history of Suffolk University Boston, the characteristics of Boston, students’ experience in school and the advantages of the project, Prof.Zhu made a wonderful introduction on “3+2”project of joint undergraduate-postgraduate between the school and Sawyer Business School and Law School.
After the lecture, many students had in-depth exchanges with Prof. Zhu. Prof. Zhu affirmed the enthusiasm and ability of the students, and looked forward to meet more outstanding GDUF Ser in Suffolk University Boston.
