On the afternoon of April 11, 2024, School of Business (SoB) of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) successfully held a meeting on discipline development and talent recruitment and cultivation in the first conference room of Administration Building, University Town Campus. Attendees included XIE Wenxin, Director of the Human Resources Division, YU Shengming, Deputy Director of the Development and Planning Division, members of SoB leadership team, department directors, and secretaries of the teachers’ party branches, all Yunshan Scholars at GDUFS, and faculty representatives. The successful convening of this meeting underscored SoB’s integrated approach to advancing both discipline development and faculty building. It brought together a broad consensus across SoB, clarified objectives, mapped out development pathways, and systematically and scientifically accelerated the high-quality development of SoB.
