On the afternoon of October 25, 2024, Business Academic Forum Session 74 was held as scheduled. This forum invited Professor GUAN Xu, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Director of the Department of Supply Chain Management and Systems Engineering at the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, as the guest speaker, who delivered a lecture to our faculty and students titled “Product Safety and Liability with Deceptive Advertising and Moral Hazard.” Professor HAN Xiaohua, Associate Dean of SoB, presided over the lecture.

As the lecture neared its end, Professor Guan interacted with the students, encouraging everyone to start by emulating existing work and to gradually deepen their mastery of academic writing. He stressed that only through continuous learning and practice can one make progress in the academic field. After Professor Guan’s splendid sharing concluded, the lecture ended amid warm applause from the faculty and students.
