On the afternoon of May 14, 2025, a delegation from the Faculty of Business and Law of the University of Saint Joseph, Macao, including Jenny Phillips, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, Dr. Alessandro Lampo, who leads the Bachelor of Business Administration program, Assistant Professor Michael Ha, and YANG Chengdong, Head of the Office of University Development, visited School of Business (SoB) of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) to discuss opportunities for collaboration. The meeting was attended by HAN Xiaohua, Executive Dean of SoB, DING Hao, Associate Dean, LIU Shumin, Director of International Office, GUAN Pianpian, Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Office for the Innovation Class, WANG Ying, Supervisor for International Office, and FAN Zihui, Supervisor for International Affairs of the MBA Center. The session was chaired by LIU Shumin. The delegation expressed appreciation for SoB’s achievements in promoting international collaboration and conveyed a strong willingness to cooperate in multiple areas. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the application and implementation of the “Ten Thousand Talents Program” in Hong Kong and Macao, joint student programs, academic research collaborations, and co-hosted workshops, reaching a broad consensus. This collaboration meeting strengthened ties between the two schools, offered more opportunities for students and faculty in learning, research, and academic exchanges, and marked another important step in SoB’s ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation with universities in Hong Kong and Macao.
