On July 22, 2024, Professor HE Qile, Chair of the College Research Committee of the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences at the University of Derby, visited School of Business (SoB) of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) for a cooperation meeting. Participants from SoB include Professor DING Hao, Associate Dean of SoB, LIU Shumin, Director of the International Accreditation and Exchange Office of SoB, and SUN Yujiao, Deputy Director of Graduate Student Office. The meeting was chaired by LIU Shumin. The two sides engaged in productive preliminary discussions on potential areas of collaboration, including student training, internship bases, teaching, and research. This meeting marked the beginning of formal engagement between the two institutions. Both parties expressed the hope to maintain close communication, further clarify and implement cooperation plans, and lay a solid foundation for deeper exchanges and collaboration in the future.
