On the afternoon of March 21, 2024, DING Wenhui, Associate Dean of the School of Finance and Economics at Guangdong University of Science and Technology, led a delegation of six faculty members and nine student representatives to visit the national innovation and entrepreneurship education practice bases of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) for research and exchange. They were received by LIU Fanglong, Associate Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at GDUFS, as well as CAO Tingting, MA Yancui, and LIN Xiuyan from the Teaching and Research Department of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education.

During the discussion session, LIU Fanglong welcomed DING Wenhui and his delegation, briefly introducing the construction, operational mechanisms, training programs, and achievement transformation of GDUFS’s national innovation and entrepreneurship education practice bases. DING Wenhui shared an overview of the School of Finance and Economics, including the International Trade program and industry-oriented enterprise classes. Both sides also exchanged ideas on faculty-student collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship, management of incubation spaces, and the development of competition projects. The delegation from Guangdong University of Science and Technology expressed their hope to learn from GDUFS’s advanced experience in the “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and other practical competitions, as well as in achievement transformation, with the aim of broadening the perspectives of faculty and students, improving teaching quality, and further enhancing the cultivation of innovative talent.
