On the afternoon of December 11, 2023, centering on School of Business (SoB)’s mission to “cultivate high-end international business talents” and its continuous efforts to build its two core features of internationalization and digitalization, SoB conducted an international cooperation and exchange activity with Leeds Trinity University, UK. The event aims to strengthen SoB’s discipline construction, promote interdisciplinary integration, and achieve innovation and advancement in teaching and research, thereby advancing coordinated development among international institutions and elevating SoB’s distinctive internationalization and digitalization levels. Professor JING Yanguo, Dean of the Joint School of Business, Computer Science and Digital Industries, Leeds Trinity University, Professor ZENG Chuhong, Associate Dean of SoB, Associate Professor CHEN Xiao, Director of the International Certification and Exchange Office, Professor SHEN Zhonghua, Director of the E-Commerce Department, along with faculty members Professor FENG Ran, ZHANG Yue, and ZHAO Sisi from the E-Commerce Department, attended the event, which was hosted by Professor SHEN Zhonghua. Professor ZENG Chuhong emphasized that in the current era of big data, integrating majors like e-commerce with digitalization will be the future development direction. He expressed hope for strengthened communication and collaboration between the two institutions to identify entry points for cooperation, gradually advancing deeper international cooperation. This joint effort aims to promote discipline development and elevate SoB’s international school-running standards.
