On the morning of March 22, 2023, Jason GAO, Chinese Representative of Marquette University, USA, visited School of Business (SoB). The two sides focused on discussing cooperation regarding dual degree programs. YUAN Denghua, Executive Dean, DING Hao, Associate Dean, XU Yiqing, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, and others attended the meeting. Jason GAO introduced the long history, current status of Marquette University, and its cooperative projects with Chinese universities, emphasizing that the discussion with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) on dual degree programs mainly targets business disciplines, hoping to cooperate in areas such as dual degrees, exchange students, and scholar visits. Both sides also discussed details of the cooperation, especially regarding cross-disciplinary study, methods for obtaining undergraduate degrees, student expenses for studying abroad, and scholarship opportunities.
