On January 19, 2025, Associate Professor MIAO Xueling from the Department of Marketing, School of Business (SoB), together with four undergraduate students, LIANG Jialin, LIANG Jinru, CHENG Huihan, and LI Muhan, embarked on a five-day study trip about international marketing to Bangkok, Thailand. This trip was an important component of the PRIME initiative of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), aiming to conduct in-depth field research on the international marketing practices of Chinese enterprises in Thailand. It sought to enhance students’ cross-cultural communication skills and international competence, cultivating top-tier innovative talents with global competitiveness.
The study trip not only provided students with valuable field research experience, helping them integrate marketing theory with practice and broaden their international perspectives, but also laid a solid foundation for deeper future collaboration between SoB and overseas universities and enterprises.
