On the afternoon of December 7, 2023, the closing ceremony for the 6th phase and the opening ceremony for the 7th phase of SoB’s “Young Marxist Training Project” (YMTP) were held at the Octagonal Building on the University Town Campus. Over 200 people attended the event, including DING Hao, Executive Dean of SoB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Chairperson, ZHANG Zhe, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, LIU Fuxian, counselor, participants of the YMTP, alumni representatives, and student representatives from all grades. The ceremony commenced with the solemn national anthem. SHEN Changxia emphasized that SoB’s YMTP training program closely integrates disciplinary characteristics with students’ developmental needs, gives full play to the advantages of multiple resources, and actively innovates the student education management model and talent training model. The program implements a globalized business student competency enhancement initiative themed “Business for the World, Cultivating Business Elites”, helping students strengthen their ideological and political convictions, professional literacy, practical ability, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, and social responsibility.
