On the evening of November 10, 2023, SoB held the 14th Freshmen Choir Festival with the theme “Performing Classics in Loud and Clear Voice in SoB” in the University Town Campus auditorium. Remilai from the Student Affairs Office, HUANG Xing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Economics and Trade, and PENG Weiying, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Arts, served as judges. Over 600 people attended the event, including SHEN Changxia, Deputy Chairperson of SoB, XIANG Yuanwei, Party Organization Staff Member, ZHANG Zhe, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, SoB’s counselors LIU Fuxian, QIN Yu, LUO Yiying, HUANG Shiheng, 14 freshman classes of 2023, as well as students from 14 classes of the 2023 cohort and other grades.

The “Performing Classics in Loud and Clear Voice in SoB” Freshmen Choir Festival is one of SoB’s brand activities for cultural education, having been held for 14 sessions so far. This event effectively reinforced the education of ideals and convictions for new students, enriched campus cultural development, strengthened cohesion among various classes, and achieved a subtle yet profound educational impact.
