To celebrate the 60th anniversary of GDUFS, update alumni on the university’s latest developments, and enhance ties between alumni and their alma mater in support of the high-quality development of School of Business (SoB), on the afternoon of March 10, XIAO Feng, Chairperson of SoB, and SHEN Changxia, Deputy Chairperson, led a delegation to visit Guangdong Wholetops Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd in Zhaoqing. The company, founded by Mr. WENG Wenhua, a 1991 alumnus of GDUFS, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and production of metal building decoration materials. Chairperson WENG Wenhua warmly received the delegation. Other attendees included General Manager LIU Bin (Class of 1991), Assistant to the Chairperson TAN Zhongping (Class of 1991), Chief Financial Officer YANG Yingping (Class of 1991), and YAO Shuibin (Class of 2013), Executive Vice President of SoB Alumni Association.

During the visit, both sides held in-depth discussions on university-enterprise cooperation, talent cultivation, as well as internship and employment opportunities. Through on-site inspection and constructive exchange, the event aimed to strengthen close ties with alumni enterprises, jointly explore new models and pathways of collaboration, and promote the innovative cultivation of university talent.
