From November 15 to 17, 2023, Associate Dean of GDUFS SoB, ZENG Chuhong, and faculty member CAI Dongman traveled to Budapest, Hungary, to attend the 2023 EFMD Bachelor Program Conference. This grand event attracted over 70 business school deans, undergraduate program directors, and other representatives from more than 20 countries around the world. The conference aimed to deeply explore the future trends, development opportunities, and challenges of global undergraduate business education in the era of artificial intelligence, while also seeking deep cooperation and sharing of experiences among global business schools.

During the conference, Professor ZENG Chuhong engaged in in-depth discussions and experience sharing with representatives of business schools from home and abroad. He actively promoted the educational philosophy of “Global Vision, Chinese Wisdom” of SoB, GDUFS, emphasizing its important role in fostering high-quality talent with internationalization and digitalization skills. In particular, he highlighted SoB’s consistent adherence to the principle of relying on accreditations and using evaluations to promote development, striving to align with major international accreditations such as EFMD, AMBA, and AACSB. This continuous effort is aimed at enhancing synergy between GDUFS SoB and global business schools in the context of artificial intelligence. Professor Zeng also exchanged ideas with Mr. Friedemann Schulze-Fielitz, EFMD Global’s Program Director, about the upcoming EFMD re-accreditation and eagerly listened to related experiences. Meanwhile, Ms. CAI Dongman interacted with several business school representatives, focusing on how SoB integrates AI into its talent training system under the backdrop of artificial intelligence, sharing initiatives and practical experiences.

This conference provided a valuable platform for SoB, GDUFS, to engage in deep exchanges and explore opportunities for cooperation with international business schools. It further solidified SoB’s position in the field of international business education and pointed the way for future development.
