From November 12 to 15, 2021, a delegation led by Associate Dean DING Hao of SoB, along with International Accreditation Supervisor LIU Tianjiao, visited the College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the SILC Business School of Shanghai University to conduct research and learning on international accreditation, program development, and assurance of learning. During the visit, the delegation also held discussions and exchanges with Professor Shen Wei, GDUFS Yunshan Chair Professor and international accreditation expert (also Vice President), on specific issues related to accreditation and China-foreign joint education programs. The valuable experiences and suggestions from the peer institutions and accreditation experts in areas such as international accreditation, program development, and talent cultivation provided important references for the strategic path of SoB, GDUFS, to “relying on accreditation, promoting construction by evaluation, and promoting connotative development and continuous improvement with international characteristics.”

In other news: On the afternoon of November 11, Associate Dean DING Hao gave a talk to the 2021 cohort of the Business School of Hohai University, sharing academic research and practical explorations in financial management in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. On November 14, SoB delegation was invited to attend the 20th Anniversary Development Conference of Nanjing University’s School of Management and Engineering and the Management Science and Engineering Summit Forum, where they particularly took part in a roundtable on government-industry-university-research collaboration, learning about advanced experiences of other institutions in this area.
