From May 26 to 28, 2019, the 2019 AACSB Asia-Pacific Annual Conference was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, organized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Over 100 representatives from dozens of institutions in countries including China, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka attended the conference. Associate Dean DING Hao of SoB and Faculty Member ZHANG Yue from the Department of E-Commerce attended the conference on behalf of SoB, GDUFS.

This conference was another milestone following SoB’s attainment of AACSB membership and participation in accreditation workshops. It was very helpful for gaining a deeper understanding of AACSB’s latest accreditation standards, procedures, and challenges. During the conference, SoB’s representatives had in-depth exchanges with representatives from various Asia-Pacific institutions regarding AACSB accreditation work, fully absorbing and learning from the experiences of schools that have already achieved AACSB accreditation, and engaged in extensive communication with representatives of institutions that support SoB’s development and collaborate closely with SoB.
