Guided by the Higher Education Department of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and sponsored by the AMBA/BGA international accreditation association and the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network, the BGA Pilot Programme for Guangdong Business Schools, organized by the Guangdong University of Finance & Economics, was held on March 16 at the North Campus of Guangdong University of Finance & Economics. SoB’s Dean ZHU Wenzhong, Associate Dean DING Hao, and International Accreditation Supervisor LIANG Yan were invited to attend the meeting, and Dean ZHU Wenzhong delivered a keynote speech.

Professor Andrew Lock, Chairperson of the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network and Chair of the AMBA International Accreditation Advisory Board; Mr. George Iliev, AMBA Director for Emerging Markets; Professor WANG Zhongming, President of the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network, AMBA China Regional Head, and a senior professor at Zhejiang University; as well as over 30 representatives from 15 institutions including Sun Yat-sen University, City University of Macau, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University, South China Agricultural University, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics, Shantou University, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou University, and Dongguan University of Technology attended the meeting.

SoB adheres to the strategic path of “relying on accreditation, promoting construction by evaluation, and promoting connotative development and continuous improvement with international characteristics,” striving to build SoB into a high-level business school with distinctive international features. This conference not only strengthened our communication and connection with the AMBA/BGA Association and enhanced cooperation and exchanges with peer business schools in the province, but also further expanded SoB’s brand influence, making it of profound significance.
