Vice President HE Chuantian spoke highly of SoB’s achievements in recent years, shared some expectations and put forward several requirements. First, academic disciplines and programs should undergo digital transformation, ranging from equipment and to teaching methods. He stressed that applying for doctoral and master’s degree programs is a key priority in discipline development and should be pursued with full dedication. Research activities should also be carried out in an organized manner and closely aligned with current affairs. Second, SoB should pay close attention to the needs of students, prioritize their interests and talent cultivation, and continuously improve the quality of talent training. Third, the rectification measures identified during the democratic life meeting must be thoroughly implemented, with clear benchmarks to ensure tasks are completed. The functional departments of GDUFS also listened to the challenges and difficulties faced by SoB and expressed strong support, particularly in areas such as laboratory construction and funding for international accreditation.
