On October 19, 2024, the 2024 Guangdong Social Sciences Annual Conference, titled “Deepening Comprehensive Reform and Opening-Up to Drive the High-Quality Development of Guangdong’s New-Quality Productive Forces and Advance Chinese Modernization”, was held at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. XIAO Feng, Chairperson of School of Business (SoB), was invited to attend the conference and deliver a keynote speech on “Mechanism Innovation for International Talent Recruitment and Development Empowered by New-Quality Productivity in Higher Education”. The sub-forum of the 2024 Guangdong Social Sciences Annual Conference was organized by the Guangdong Federation of Social Sciences and hosted by the Research Center for Rule of Law in Finance and Taxation of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the FinTech Industry Academy, and the School of Smart Finance and Economics at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. Over 120 experts and scholars from more than 50 universities, research institutions, and industry associations, both within and outside Guangdong Province, participated in the conference.
