On the afternoon of September 2, 2024, School of Business (SoB) held the opening ceremony and orientation for the Class of 2024 in the Grand Auditorium at the University Town Campus. The event was attended by SoB leadership team, faculty representatives, counselors, and all new students of the Class of 2024. The ceremony was hosted by SHEN Changxia, Deputy Chairperson of SoB. On behalf of SoB, Executive Dean YUAN Denghua extended a warm welcome and sincere congratulations to all new students of the Class of 2024. He highlighted that SoB of GDUFS, with its long history, deep-rooted academic traditions, well-developed academic system, internationally recognized accreditations, and distinctive global orientation in talent cultivation, is a school that every student can take great pride in. Professor YUAN Denghua encouraged the new students to have firm ideals and convictions, practice self-discipline and pursue truth with courage, broaden their vision with a deep commitment to serving the Chinese nation.
