On June 12, 2024, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) held the Appointment Ceremony of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor and the Mobilization Meeting for the 2024 China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Provincial Round). TANG Rui, Deputy Chairperson of GDUFS and Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, delivered a speech at the event. Representatives of innovation and entrepreneurship mentors from both inside and outside GDUFS, teams that had won gold and silver awards in the university-level competition, and teams incubated at national innovation and entrepreneurship education practice bases attended the ceremony.

In his concluding remarks, XIAO Feng, Chairperson of School of Business (SoB) and Executive Vice Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, stated that these events demonstrated GDUFS’s strong emphasis on and support for innovation and entrepreneurship education, as well as the enthusiasm and dedication of faculty and students. He emphasized that the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education at GDUFS requires the collective efforts of all, and that GDUFS will continue to deepen the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Therefore, GDUFS will provide students with broader development opportunities, and looks forward to cultivating more talents with creativity and practical skills in the future.
