On the afternoon of December 7, 2023, a series of activities of the Lighthouse Learning Club— “Business Leading, Dreams Sailing” of SoB Youth Nanyue and the theme forum of “Business Youth and the Future of Guangdong from a Global Perspective” were held in the Octagon Building Conference Room, University Town Campus. Over 200 people participated in the event, including DING Hao, Associate Dean of SoB, SHEN Changxia, Deputy Chairperson, ZHANG Aiheng, Director of EMI Section in SoB, alumna LIANG Ziqing (Class of 2013), alumna GUAN Yongxin (Class of 2018), student QU Zhicheng (Class of 2020), LIU Fuxian, Secretary of the Alumni Association, ZHANG Zhe, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and students from all grades. The “Business Leading, Dreams Sailing” of Youth Nanyue is one of SoB’s brand activities. Through forum interviews, the activity connects with alumni and enterprises. Participants include faculty representatives, alumni representatives, and current student representatives. Against the backdrop of globalization, they leverage their expertise and experience to help business students broaden their horizons and enhance their competitiveness. This activity explored the future of young business professionals and southern Guangdong within a global context, offering SoB students’ unique insights and valuable advice for their personal development. It encouraged students to conduct in-depth exploration from both theoretical and practical dimensions, helping them clarify their future paths while unleashing their youthful passion and pursuing their aspirations through dedicated effort.
