From January 7 to 11, 2021, Professor CHEN Song, Deputy Chairperson of Tongji University’s School of Economics and Management, visited SoB to guide EQUIS accreditation work. Associate Dean DING Hao, EQUIS Accreditation Project Leader ZHAO Di, and International Accreditation Supervisor LIU Tianjiao participated in the guidance meetings. Professor DING Hao introduced the development of SoB’s undergraduate and graduate programs, highlighting the two all-English undergraduate innovation classes and the fully English-taught MBA program. He also pointed out that SoB has relatively few long-term foreign faculty and that the number of overseas students we host needs to be increased. Professor Chen suggested that SoB take the initiative in strengthening recruitment publicity and explore targeted admissions in cooperation with overseas universities. Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth discussions on matters such as how to liaise with the EQUIS committee and the writing of the EQUIS Data Sheet, clarifying important timelines in the accreditation process.
