They listened to several reports, including: “Leveraging Accreditation, Pursuing Continuous Innovation, and Developing Distinctive Features—Reflections on Business School Development” by Professor YI Zhihong; “Understanding ‘Innovation and Distinctiveness’” by Professor WU Xiaobo, former Dean of Zhejiang University’s School of Management; “The Role of Accreditation in Improving Institutional Quality—Comparing Chinese and Foreign Accreditations” by Professor WANG Yonggui, Dean of the Business School at the University of International Business and Economics; “CAMEA Accreditation and School Development” by Professor LI Yuan, Dean of Tongji University’s School of Economics and Management; and “Ensuring Quality through Standards, Creating a Brand through Distinctiveness, and Promoting Development through Accreditation” by Professor WANG Fanghua, former Dean of Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Antai College of Economics and Management. In the final session of the conference, Mr. ZHU Jinming, Project Manager of CDGDC Evaluation Office and Deputy Director of CAMEA Secretariat, provided a detailed interpretation of the concepts, standards, and procedures of CAMEA accreditation.

This accreditation training conference took place shortly after SoB obtained CAMEA accreditation eligibility, and it provided highly targeted and instructive guidance for the subsequent self-assessment work for CAMEA accreditation. Dean ZHU Wenzhong and Associate Dean DING Hao’s communications and exchanges with participants and accreditation experts effectively promoted the distinctive international features of SoB, GDUFS, and its MBA program.
