Dec 24, 2024

On the afternoon of December 19, 2024, the third session of the GDUFS Business Case Workshop, jointly organized by School of Business (SoB) and the Center for Teacher Development, was successfully held, featuring Associate Professor ZHANG Aiheng as the guest speaker. Drawing on her experience at the CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) Case Master Development Camp, Professor ZHANG delivered a lecture to the faculty on Internationalized Case Teaching and Development and China’s Localized Practices.

Participating faculty attentively listened, actively engaged during the lecture, and exchanged insights on their experiences in case teaching and case development. They noted that Professor ZHANG’s lecture provided a detailed analysis of potential challenges teachers may face in interdisciplinary teaching, classroom management, and time investment, as well as key factors in the academic environment such as teaching culture, infrastructure, instructional support, and case sources. She also introduced the SMILE case teaching framework, offering a comprehensive and systematic guide for case-based teaching.
