SoB of GDUFS 2024 Summer Camp for Outstanding Undergraduates Prospectus

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) is a key provincial university with distinctive international characteristics, serving as an important base in South China for cultivating international talents, research in foreign languages and literature, global economic governance, foreign-related rule of law, and the international communication of Chinese culture. To promote exchanges among undergraduates, enhance young students’ learning enthusiasm and research interest, and attract more outstanding students to GDUFS, GDUFS has decided to host the “GDUFS 2024 Summer Camp for Outstanding Undergraduates.”

I. Programs Offered by SoB

Management Science and Engineering (120100)

Business Administration (120200) (With two specializations: Enterprise Management; Technology Economy and Management)

II. Application Eligibility and Materials

(I) Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

1. Be third-year undergraduate students (expected graduates of 2025) from national key universities, provincial key universities, or universities with recommendation-for-exemption qualifications.

2. Have undergraduate academic performance meeting the requirement for recommendation-for-exemption at their home university.

3. Have a strong interest in scientific research in the applied field and possess strong research potential and innovation capability.

4. Have good foreign language proficiency, having passed CET-4 (for non-foreign language majors).

5. Be in good physical and mental health.

(II) Required Application Materials:

1. “GDUFS 2024 National Outstanding Undergraduate Summer Camp Application Form” (Attachment 1).

2. Official undergraduate transcripts and proof of academic ranking (both must be sealed by the Academic Affairs Office of the recommending university).

3. Copy of student ID card and personal ID card.

4. Proof of English proficiency (e.g., CET-4/6 scores, TEM-4/8 scores, TOEFL, IELTS, GRE/GMAT).

5. Other materials demonstrating outstanding achievements in learning, scientific research, social practice, etc. (e.g., relevant award certificates, published academic papers, publications, or original work).

All application materials must be authentic and valid.

All application materials, except the application form, should be scanned into documents.
