At 3 pm on September 14, 2017, the first ideological and political course lectured by the secretary of school of susiness went smoothlyin the classrom F307. The Party Committee's Secretary of SOB LI Hua, the Party Committee'sDeputy Secretary LUO Haiyang, all the counselors of SOB, studentrepresentatives of all grades and student cadres in SOB participated in thisevent.
Starting from the historical interpretation of thesocial values of socialism, Secretary LI Hua introduced the development courseof the socialist core values system, and cited the classic cases of"Heinz's Dilemma", "injury feigning" and other examples toanalyze some social heated problems with simple explanation, emphasizing thenecessity of observing the socialist core values. She detailedly introduced thespecific content of the socialist core values, and made a deep interpretationof the twenty-four-word values. And she believed that the socialist core valuesis the crucial guarantee for achieving the "Two Centenary Goals" andthe "Chinese dream"——the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. At last, she sincerelyhoped that students of SOB can correctly understand the responsibility of the timesand historical mission, consciously merge the pursuit of personal ideals withthe cause of the country and the nation. And she hoped that students can startfrom the little things and themselves, profoundly learn the core values ofsocialism, actively respond to the "Three Advocacy" and try to"study diligently", "cultivate morality", "cleardiscrimination" and "practice earnestly". What's more, shesuggested students work hard to seek genuine knowledge, strengthen the moralcultivation and pay attention to moral practice. Students should also be goodat distinguishing right from wrong and decision making, do practical stuff andbe a honest man actively practicing the socialist core values.
LUO Haiyang summed up the speech and made some requestsfor the present students: first, ask them to be "fair, just and open"in study and at work; second, keep doing physical exercise and maintain astrong physique, consciously protect the fundamental interests of our countryand people's security and take no part in the making or spreading of rumors.Third, establish a sense of rules, strictly abide by the rules and regulations,and encourage everyone to actively participate in the "Youth MarxistTraining Course" and consciously accept the baptism of advanced socialistthought.
