At 2:30p.m. on October 26, 2017, a sharing session by excellent alumni of human resources management major was held at C101 in the south campus of GDUFS. Three alumni including Liang Jun, Guo Zhibin and TOWER were invited to have in-depth exchanges with students on their orientation at the undergraduate phase and future career planning. Deputy Party Secretary Luo Haiyang of the School of Business and teachers of the Department of Human Resources attended the sharing session.
First comes Liang Jun, who graduated in 2006 and currently severs as the HR and operation manager of share delivery in Tencent. Liang shared his rich experience in career development and by taking the example of share delivery, showed the occupation development direction, and made suggestions on future career choice.
Followed is Guo Zhibin, who graduated in 2008 and now serves as the HR manager of CapitaLand in South China district. With the theme of “A thousand miles begins with asingle step”, Guo elaborated his ideas through combining with his own experience, which winned plaudits.
Tower, who graduated from the English emersion class in 2014, now is employed in Guangzhou Exit and Entry Administrative Bureau. He detailed for the junior and senior students from three aspects, including employment, studying abroad and attending the graduate school exam, and summarized the problems they may encounter in the future, which benefited the students a lot.
At the end,Professor An Fansuo, apart from concluding the speeches of the alumni, also expressed his appreciation to their support and assistance and welcomed them to come backoften. Meanwhile, he hoped students to cherish the precious time in college and prepare for future career.
After the sharing session, three alumni and teachers of the Department of Human Resources attended the symposium for speacialty construction, exchanging ideas on training objectives, curriculum system, internship and practice, as well as “All-in-English”teaching of the major of Human Resources Management.
