On November 30th , experts of Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation(CAMEA) visited GDUFS,carrying out inspection work of qualification for CAMEA. Prof. Lei Xinghui,assistant principal of Tongji University, is the certified professional,accompanied by Zhao Jianru, China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center.
The expert group discussed with Jiao Fangtai,Yuan Quan and Zhu Wenzhong at Conference Room 308, MBA Education Center of School of Business. Jiao first showed his warm welcome and sincere think to allthe experts and then introduced the basic situation and strategic positioning of GDUFS. Jiao mainly expressed the university’s great importance and support of CAMEA to the experts.The experts discussed with three leaders on issues related to CAMEA and the development of MBA programs.
The inspection work was mainly conducted at Conference Room 402, MBA Education Center. When introducing CAMEA, Lei Xinghui emphasized that carrying out CAMEA was in line with the national strategic development and was conducive to improving the external quality assurance system and the quality of professional degree training and maintaining the education sover eignty. He also described in detail the organization structure,certification standards and certification process of CAMEA.
Zhu introduced the development of SOB,explained the mission, vision and values of SOB and made a report on theachievements of all aspects of the school in recent years, especially thespecific embodiment of international characteristics. Finally, he put forward the future development of School of Business from the aspects of strengtheningthe construction of talent team, building the platform, strengthening the practice base, innovating the cooperative training mode of MBA, creating famous courses to enlarge the brand influence and implementing the international cooperation and promotion plan.
Yuan Denghua first introduced the development and organizational structure of MBA program of SOB. Focusing on the vision andmission of MBA programs, Yuan made a report from aspects such as constructing two platforms, condensing two characteristics, building two systems andadhering to two guidances.
In the afternoon, accompanying by Zhu Wenzhong, Yuan Denghua and Dinghao, the experts inspected the reading rooms,classrooms, laboratories, case rooms and other teaching facilities of MBA Education Center. In teacher representatives’ seminar, experts had in-depthexchanges with Yang Xiaoyan, Zhangxinggui and other 8 MBA teacher representatives.
After the inspection, the expert group summarized and made feedback on the inspection. Lei Xinghui pointed out in the overall evaluation that the history of MBA of GDUFS is not long, but it accumulates a wealth of educational experience and boasts a team of international teaching staff with high the oretical level. Meanwhile, he alsoput forward professional and pertinent suggestions on rethinking of internationalization characteristics, the steady expansion of scale and the construction of curriculum groups and textbooks.
Jiao Fangtai, on behalf of the university,showed sincere thank to the guidance of experts, pointed out that the opinion sof experts have strong guidance and pertinence which provided a solution to the problem. Jiao instructed leaders of SOB to carefully absorb experts’ opinions and suggestions and speed up the implementation and rectification work of related issues.
