On March 5th, 2023, the opening ceremony of the first phase of the “New Talents for Copper Merchants” Training Program organized by Jiangxi Copper Corporation and undertaken by SoB, GDUFS was held in room 401 of the ninth teaching building on the Baiyun Mountain Campus of GDUFS.

Vice President JIAO Fangtai introduced the competitive advantages in the international arena, the characteristics of international education, and the brand advantages of the business discipline of our university. CHEN Yunian, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, delivered a speech and made demands on the trainees in this training program. Then, HUANG Fanghong, General Manager of the Human Resources Department of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, introduced this training program’s teaching methods and management measures and encouraged the trainees to integrate theory with practice. XIAO Ximing, Secretary of the Party Committee of SoB, attended the event. YUAN Denghua, Vice Dean (in charge) of SoB, elaborated on the plan for the training program of “New Talents for Copper Merchants”.

Making full use of the advantages of school-enterprise cooperation, the training program provides a higher education platform to cultivate talents for enterprises with equal emphasis on theory and practice and offers an optimal solution for the university to enhance stronger international influence.
