On the afternoon of March 2nd, SoB held the opening ceremony and training lecture of the 14th Career Planning Competition with the theme of “Dream High and Shape Future Careers” in room F215 of the teaching building on the University Town Campus.

Based on the employment situation in recent years and related data, SHEN Changxia highlighted the initial intention of holding the career planning competition and emphasized the importance of setting clear goals and career planning. Then, GUAN Pianpian presented a training lecture on “Career Planning and Management for College Students”. Next, WU Zhiqiang explained in detail the matters needing attention in the online application, resume creation, and interview from the perspective of HR, giving the students a preliminary understanding of the overall process of campus recruitment. Finally, HUANG Li shared her experience in the competition.

After the opening ceremony and the training lecture, the students present expressed that they had gained a lot and had been aware of the significance of participating in the career planning competition, which helped to enhance their career planning awareness and improve their professional planning ability and practical ability.
