In August 2021, SOB of GDUFS officially passed the second re-accreditation of AMBA and BGA (Gold Medal) accreditation, becoming the eighth institution in China to receive this accreditation. From May 17 to 19, 2021, an accreditation panel chaired by Professor Steef Van de Velde from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, with Professor Michele O'Dwyer from the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, Professor WANG Chongming from the School of Management, Zhejiang University, and Professor Philip McLaughlin, former Founding Dean and Executive Director of the KEDGE Business School, as members of the panel, conducted an online comprehensive accreditation assessment of GDUFS.

During the assessment, SUI Guangjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of GDUFS, received the panel of experts. He pointed out that GDUFS attaches great importance to the AMBA and BGA accreditation. The panel had an in-depth discussion with SUI Guangjun in the meeting. ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB, elaborated and reported on the mission, vision and values of SOB. During the discussion, the panel communicated in depth with the heads of SOB and each program, and conducted a thorough evaluation of SOB.

In the feedback session, the panel noted the strengths of SOB and offered suggestions for the future development based on the self-assessment report and the discussion. President SHI Youqi delivered a speech on behalf of GDUFS. He said that GDUFS will take the experts' feedback seriously and move forward with the goal of cultivating international high-end business talents.

Being awarded the joint accreditation of AMBA and BGA (Gold Medal) marks a great affirmation of GDUFS’s academic performance and a brand new level for development of GDUFS's business administration discipline and international business talents, which is of great significance in improving GDUFS's teaching system and building an international high-level business school. In the future, SOB will maintain the mission of "cultivating international high-end business talents" and the vision of "becoming a high-level business school with distinctive international characteristics". SOB will draw on the experience of the world's advanced business schools, absorb the advice of the panel, and implement sustainable plans for improvement so as to constantly push forward the high-quality development of SOB.
