At the invitation of Manchester Metropolitan University, School of Business sent 7 MBA students to England for cross-cultural exchange from July 27th to August 16th. On the morning of July 27th, the delegation arrived at the Manchester Metropolitan University and started their three-week journey of learning about business management knowledge in English university, and carrying out on-the-spot investigation into advanced management experience of world famous enterprises. This exchange activity included four parts: academic lectures, famous enterprises visits, famous schools visits and cultural investigation. The members of the delegation attended academic lectures in the Department of Business and Management of Manchester Metropolitan University, including the British higher education system and its advantages, cross-cultural communication under globalization, brand strategic management, technical innovation and project management, international marketing. GDUFS students' active performances in class gave full play to the profession + language advantage, which enbaled them to be actively engaged in the English class. The university spoke highly of their performances.
The delegation visited the Manchester United, BBC Media City, Land Rover automobile production line, Rolls-Royce and other famous British enterprises, and carried out exchanges and discussions with the management of enterprises to learn about management knowledge and experience of these world-class enterprises. At the same time, the delegation also visited University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Glasgow and other world famous universities, as well as the British Museum, the Industrial Revolution Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland.
The quality of British education was in the leading position across the world. Therefore, this projectnot only improved the knowledge structure of the students in the environment of global economic integration but also cultivated students' keen insight and ability to adapt to opportunities and challenges of globalization in the future, and more importantly, connected closer with the advanced education management system abroad. |
