Grenoble Ecole de Management Visits Business School to Discuss Cooperation

    On  the morning of October 28th, Gael Fouillard, Executive Director of Education  of Grenoble Ecole de Management in France and Xu Jie, Manager of its Chinese  Office visited our school. Deputy Dean Liang Jie and Foreign Affairs  Assistant Zhou Ning participated in the meeting.   

  Liang  Jie expressed warm welcome and thanked Grenoble Ecole de Management for  providing opportunities of exchanges for students of the Business School.  With close communication, our school has signed “2+2” double degree  cooperative program with Grenoble Ecole de Management and successfully  selected and sent two excellent students to study in France. In the meeting,  both sides expressed their hope for new model with high feasibility on the  basis of “2+2” program for improved academic exchanges. In addition, both  sides explored on the feasibility of “3+1” double degree program. Liang Jie  made suggestions such as organizing professors of Grenoble Ecole de  Management to deliver lectures in the Business School and organizing students  for exchanges during winter and summer vacation.

Gael  Fouillard met with students from our school. Gael Fouillard gave introduction  to Grenoble Ecole de Management. Xu Jie pointed out that Grenoble Ecole de  Management has maintained a ranking of 6th among business schools in France,  which is a great honor. In the Q&A session, students raised questions  concerning fees and model of teaching. Gael Fouillard and Xu Jia gave  detailed answers.

After  the meeting, Dean Zhu Wenzhong, Deputy Dean Yuan Denghua, Deputy Dean Liang  Jie and Gael Fouillard had further discussions  on the cooperation on master’s degree level. Both sides discussed on the  possibility of double degree program of MBA students and academic  learning-oriented students and reached consensus on many aspects.

According to the consultation, the “3+1”double degree program  agreement for undergraduates will be signed this semester, providing students  with more opportunities for further studies abroad.
