From November 9th to 12th in 2015, the  7th ABBS Students Meet and International Research Conference Risks and  Threats to BRICS Economies was held in Moscow. The conference was hosted by  ABBS, organized by National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and supported  by Russia’s Federal Financial Supervision Authority, Federal Education and  Science and Technology Ministry and Russian Academy of Sciences.    

The conference enjoyed an unprecedented  scale of participants. Participants included more than 260 officials,  professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students from China, Russia, India,  South Africa, Brazil, Kyrghyzstan and Kazakhstan. Our school’s Deputy Dean  Yuan Denghua and instructor Huang Lei led six MBA students (including Zhou  Hong, Luo Ying, Li Xiaohui, Guo Wencheng, Huang Feng and Liu Jianwei) to  attend the conference.

Professor Yuan Denghua addressed the  audience at the opening ceremony on behalf of the School of Business. Doctor  Huang Lei delivered a speech concerning the topic of “International  Compliance Regulation of Enterprise Operation” at the International Seminar.

The conference embodied diversified  activities, including keynote speech, debate, commercial games, sports events  and artistic performance. In the speech contest, the speech given by MBA  representative team of GDUFS with the topic of “Enhancing Financial Security to Guarantee Global  Economic Sustainability”was highly praised by the  audience. MBA representative team of GDUFS stood out from 16 teams and won  the silver medal in the keynote speech and debate session.

In the sports events, MBA representative  team of GDUFS won medals in Three-player Basketball Match, Men's and Women’s  Table Tennis Games and Men's and Women’s Dart Games. The team won champion in  Three-player Basketball Match and ranked first in total score with two gold  medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals.

In the artistic performance, MBA representative  team of GDUFS impressed the audience with the eye-catching Xinjiang Dance. And  the Peking Opera performed by Teacher Yuan Denghua and Teacher Huang Lei  pushed the lively atmosphere to a new high.

MBA representative team of GDUFS has won  praise from all sides with its excellent performance. This trip to Moscow  demonstrates the “going global” concept of MBA education of the School of  Business. The ABBS is an outstanding platform to promote the  internationalization of MBA program of GDUFS.
