Guangdong Institute for International Strategies (GIIS) and the School of Business of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies carried out a study on "A Research Report on the Deepening of Economic and Trade Cooperation Between Guangdong and Australia", as commissioned by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee. The research and writing of the main part is undertaken by the Leadership Empowerment and Organization Development Research Center (LEO) of the School of Business of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The research team is composed of 9 members (including Zeng Chuhong) with Li Qing, Secretary-General of the GIIS as the person in charge and Qiu Weinian, researcher of GIIS, director of LEO and deputy dean of the Business School as the project director. The research puts forward the new mode of economic and trade cooperation between Guangdong and Macao and the establishment of cooperative mechanism of industrial connection basing on the existing platform and policies. The research project started in July of 2015. The research team has held talks with Consulate of Australia, AustCham South China, Guangdong Chamber of International Commerce and Australian Guangdong Chamber of Commerce. The research team drafted research report in September and revised the report in October with hard work in field research. The report has gained significant written instructions from Zhao Yufang, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, Zhu Xiaodan, Governor of Guangdong Province and Hu Chunhua, the Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC.
Brief Introduction of LEO: The Leadership Empowerment and Organization Development Research Center (LEO) is set up in December of 2013, basing on the platform of the School of Business of GDUFS. The center aims to establish a professional platform of research and service centering on global leadership and Chinese enterprises’ going global. |
