On January 6th, 2015, Prof. Li Peimin, Dean of Business School at Singapore University Of Social Sciences (SUSS) visited our school and gave an academic lecture titled “Journal of Online Courses at the Business School ofSUSS”. Zhu Wenzhong, Executive Dean of GDUFS School of Business, Associate Deans Yuan Denghua and Liang Jie and about 20 teachers attended the lecture and had an informal discussion. 
Li Peimin introduced the experience of SUSS in developing online courses in recent years and analyzed the key factors for the success of e-learning.He also discussed the influence of e-learning to students.SUSS has more than 14000 students who receive education mainly in their spare time. Therefore, online teaching corresponds with its characteristics of student source, thus bringing convenience for adults to receive higher education. 
Teachers of our School have learned foreign universities’ methods of planning, displaying and testing online courses. After the lecture, the teachers and Li Peimin had an exchange to further explore the relevant contents of online courses. |
