In the afternoon of October 12th, 2017, Party Branch of Teaching Staff of Department of Business Administration of School of Business held a general election meeting and a meeting of special organization life in conference room 306, Faculty Building, South Campus. Sui Guangjun,Party Secretary and President of GDUFS, attended the meeting and made afeatured speech. Li Hua, Party Secretary of School of Business, attended the meeting and the meeting was hosted by Ding Hao, the Branch Secretary.
The meeting heard and considered the work report of the previous branch committee. The branch secretary, Ding Hao, on behalf of theprevious branch committee, made a report from three aspects, the work performance, the shortage and recommendations for the new branch committee.
The meeting examined and adopted the electoral methods,proposing Zhu Wenzhong as the scrutineer, Hou Guanghui as the vote counter.After two rounds of voting, Ding Hao, Huang Lei and Song Zhiyong were electedas members of the new branch committee.
After the general election meeting, the branch held ameeting of special organization life. The party members made a discussion about normalization and institutionalization of learning “Two Studies, One Action” under the new situation, strengthening the construction of party branch of university teachers and playing a better role of teachers as aparty member.
Dean Zhu Wenzhong first talked about his deep understanding of learning “Two Studies, One Action”. He believed that the learning of“Two Studies, One Action”needs to be institutionalized and institutional guarantee ofnormal studying is essential; the most important part of learning “Two Studies, One Action”is the constructionof base-level party branch in order to ensure the implementation of politicalprinciple of higher-level party organizations. Party leaders should play aleading role and become the model of “Two Studies, OneAction”learning.
Huang Lei and Song Zhiyong, teacher members of partybranch, also made a speech of study experience. Dong Junwu was on a business trip so Huang Lei was commissioned to make a written statement.
Sui Guangjun, Party Secretary and President of GDUFSfully affirmed the spirit and team spirit of Party Branch of Teaching Staff ofDepartment of Business Administration, thinking that the spirit of teachers,faculties and schools is an important force to promote the development andvitality of the university. Sui put forward work requirements for PartyBranch of Teaching Staff of Department of Business Administration, “fulfill their duties and makepersistent efforts”, stressing that the branch shouldplay a leading role in the School Sui on the work of the new branch of theLabor Department of the Labor Party to “fulfill theirduties, make persistent efforts” requirements, stressedthat the branch should play a leading role in the college, pass on the branchculture of “harmony, unity and advance”, strengthen the standardization and institutionalization of thebranch, focus on strengthening the political leadership and ideologicaleducation of teachers and students, strive to practice the GDUFS value of “excellence, integrity, tolerance and confidence”and play a leading and guarantee role in internationalcertification, discipline construction and professional development.
Party Secretary Li Hua fully affirmed and thanked the work of the previous branch committee. Teacher party members positively gaveadvice and suggestions, which fully embodies that the branch concerns theresponsibility and role of the School. Li hopes that the new branch committeewill continue with the past and open up the future and make more and greatercontributions under the joint efforts of the party members and under theleadership of the higher-level party organizations.
After the meeting, the new branch committee held thefirst branch committee meeting to determine the division of labor as follows:Ding Hao as branch secretary, Song Zhiyong as member in charge of organizationand Huang Lei as member in charge of discipline inspection.
