On the morning of October 24, 2017, the signing ceremony of the 2017 school research and innovation teams was held in the Meeting Room3 Administration Building of the north campus where vice president Ye Aimin, on behalf of the university signed the contract with five research and in novation teams and delivered animportant speech. The meeting was presided over by Chen Ping, deputy director of Scientific Research Department. The support unit leaders and team managers of the research and innovation teams attended the meeting. Professor YaoHaixiang from the School of Finance and Professor Zuo Zhigang from the Schoolof Accounting shared the experience of construction and management on theinnovation teams.

  

The “Researchand Innovation Team of China - Portuguese-speaking Countries” jointly declared by Ding Hao, the School of Business, and Shang Xuejiao, the Faculty of EuropeanLanguage & Culture has been determined as a regional and national research project. Li Hua, the secretary of the School of Business, attended the meeting on behalf of the support unit, and made a statement on the management of the innovation team and the support of the support unit.

  

It is reported that the School of Business attaches great importance to the regional and national research, and considers it as an important path to achieve the high level of the School of Business with international features. Following the project establishment of the “Research and Innovation Team of China - LatinAmerica” in 2016, the Latin American research center was put on record by the Ministry of Education of national and regional research center in 2017. The project of “Research and Innovation Team of China - Portuguese-speaking Countries”is another important achievement in the study of regional and national research. The team adopts the mode of “dual support units and dual managers”,and will actively promote the exploration of cross-research and in-depth cooperation to add new strength to the international features of universities and colleges.
