Seminar on Construction of Chinese and Foreign Brands Management Research Center is successfully held

On the afternoon of November 9, 2017, the seminar on construction of Chinese and foreign brands management research center was successfully held in the 402 Conference Room of the No.9 Building (MBA Education Center) of North campus. These minar was hosted by Prof. Zhu Wenzhong, Dean of School of Business. More than 20 people, including Vice Director Pan Xiangyu and Chief Li Hailin of Research Department, Base members and postgraduate students attended the seminar.

At the beginningof the seminar, Prof. Yuan Denghua, the head of Research Center, reported onthe construction goals of Chinese and foreign brands management research center, research direction and management mechanism, which was fully recognizedby present experts.

Prof. LiuShilan, the member of base, then made a report on research supposition ofinfluence of consumer’s promotion expectation on purchasing decision to expert group. The experts recognized preliminary research results made by Prof. Liu,and put forward valuable suggestions on problems of research model, the measurement and manipulation of variables.

In the end,Vice Prof. Zhu Liye, the member of base, conducted an in-depth discussion with the experts on Internet-based brand co-creation research. Experts fullyrecognized the research results and research overall frame work of Prof. Zhu,and also suggested that on this basis, we should pay close attention tonational strategic needs, integrate advantages of academic resources, and further study regional, city and national brands, and make great contributions to the discipline construction and enterprise development.

In the final session, Vive Director of Research Department Pan Xiangyu fully affirmed the research plan of the Base, and required that Chinese and foreign brands management center should further refine research features, focus on nationa l strategic needs, integrated advantages of academic resources, give full play tolocation advantages and score achievements in city brands building.

Prof. Yuan Denghua, the head of the Base, finally made a position on behalf of all Basemembers. He said all Base members would be closely integrated with the strategic needs of the country, constantly improved the scientificity and applicability of the research results so as to make contributions to the discipline construction and Chinese brands going to the world.
