The third Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA) Training Meeting was held in Harbin on January 5, 2018 with the purpose of carrying out the essence of the 19th CPC National Congress in practice by advancing education for Master of Business Administration (MBA) regarding its innovation level, distinctive development and sustainable quality improvement. This meeting was hosted by China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) and China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee and co-hosted by Harbin Engineering University.
Among those attended the meeting, there were: Tang Jiwei, Deputy Inspector of the Department of Degree Management & Postgraduate Education of Ministry of Education of PRC, Lin Mengquan, Associate Director of CDGDC, Yang Bin, Secretary General of China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee and Vice President of Tsinghua University, Yi Zhihong, Associate Director and Committee member and former Vice President of Renmin University of China, and Lu Xiongwen, Associate Director and Committee member and Dean of School of Management of Fudan Univeristy. Professor Lu Xiongwen chaired the opening ceremony. On behalf of Harbin Engineering University, Vice President Wu Linzhi delivered a welcoming address.
Dean Zhu Wenzhong and Associate Dean Ding Hao were invited to this meeting. At the last part of this meeting, Zhu Jinming, Project Supervisor of the Assessment Division of CDGDC and Associate Director of the Secretariat Office of CAMEA, introduced the concepts, standards and procedures at CAMEA in detail.
This training meeting was held soon after SOB acquired CAMEA and hence had great significance in providing guidance to the follow-up assessment work of SOB after its acquiring of CAMEA. Zhu Wenzhong and Ding Hao communicated with the representatives and experts present. Through their communications, the distinctive international characteristics of SOB of GDUFS and its MBA program had been perfectly displayed and delivered.
