Following the deliberation of the qualification application report and the experts' on-site inspection and the assessment of the experts of China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC), School of Business of the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies successfully obtained the Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA) qualification and officially entered the accreditation process. It indicates that the MBA program of the School of Business of GDUFS has achieved new progress in promoting the discipline construction by accreditation after obtaining the AMBA certification in 2015.
Established in 2012, CAMEA certification was jointly organized by China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) and China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee (CNMESC). It is currently the first professional degree education certification in China, and secretariat of accreditation was set at CDGDC. The accreditation is based on the principle of adhering to high quality, steady progress, openness and international cooperation, and aims to promote the continuous improvement of the quality of business management education in China. At present, the business schools (management colleges) of 19 well-known universities such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing University, and Renmin University of China have obtained this certification. The School of Business of GDUFS has obtained the qualification for its distinctive international characteristics, which shows the affirmation of experts for the MBA program of GDUFS.
