November 16, Guangdong Provincial Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education and International Accreditation Seminar was held successfully at the third meeting roomof GUDFS (North Campus). The seminar washosted by the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network and organized by SOB ofGDUFS. Over 30 representatives from other ten colleges attended the seminar.The seminar was chaired by WANG Zhongming,Director General of the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network, head of AMBA China and senior professor of liberal artsof Zhejiang University. Firstly,Professor WANG Zhongming gave a detailed introduction about theSilk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network. Then,Professor Andrew Lock, Chairman ofSilk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network and AMBAInternationalAccreditationAdvisory Board, expressed his approval of SOB’s entrepreneurship education in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative, suggested on the content and teaching method of entrepreneurship education and introduced the upcoming BGA(Business Graduate Association) Accreditation which is subjected to business schools and launched by AMBA. Professor LIU Haichun, Vice President of GDUFS, delivered a speech about the achievements, current advantages and future development directions of entrepreneurship education of GDUFS. Later, the representatives introduced the developments their colleges have achievedin entrepreneurship education respectively. Professor ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB of GDUFS, introduced the model of“integrative entrepreneurship education”. At the end, professor WANG Zhongming made a conclusion of the seminar and shared with the attendees the“four returns” which were initially brought up by CHEN Baosheng, the Minister of Education. He also pointed out that the entrepreneurship education ofSilk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network should be specialized, professional, international and platform-based. This seminar not only allowed colleges to have a better understanding of Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education but also promoted exchanges and communication on entrepreneurship education among colleges, benefiting further development of entrepreneurship education.
