The First Yellow Book of Portuguese-speaking Countries in China Releases in GDUFS

On May 16, 2019, Annual Report on the Development of Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, the first Yellow Book of Portuguese-speaking Countries in Chinajointlypublished by GDUFS andSocial Sciences Academic Press (China), was officially launched. Later, the 2019 Symposium on Portuguese-speaking Countries and Greater Bay Area was held. Sui Guangjun, party secretary of GDUFS, gave a welcome speech.Pedro Murilo Ortega Terra,ConsulGeneral ofConsulateGeneral of Brazil in Guangzhou, and Liu Benli, head of Macao Economic Association and formerDean ofDirecção dos Serviços de Estudo de Políticas e Desenvolvimento Regional, delivered speeches respectively later on. Jiao Fangtai, vice president of GDUFS, hosted the book launch. Then during the symposium, Liu Chengkun,director of the Institute for Sustainable Developmentfrom Macao University of Science and Technology, Júlio Reis Jatobá, associate professor of Department of Portuguese from Macao University, Song Minfu,ExecutiveDirector of Investment Research Institute from Hohai University, Meng Ding, professorfrom GDUFS, and several researchers from Guangdong Institute for International Strategies including Lai Xueyi and Yan Shaohua all delivered speeches. The launch of the yellow book provided important references for further understanding and researchon the cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
