On the afternoon of June 27, 2019, SOB Committee of the CPC held a meeting of all party members in the Student Activities Center on South Campus. All Party members attended the meeting. The conference heard and deliberated on the work of the last Party Committee of SOB, and elected seven new members of the Party Committee, including WEI Chuanwen and ZHU Wenzhong, as well as two student representatives of the 4th Party representatives’ congress of GDUFS including YANG Junzhong and YAO Bin. On behalf of the current Committee of the Communist Party, WEI Chuanwen, Party Secretary of SOB, delivered a report under the theme of “Keep the Original Aspiration, Undertake the Mission, Forge Ahead and Strive for Development”. ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB, Deputy Party Secretary made the closing address. The new Party Committee willfurther play the role of the fighting fortress as a grass-roots party organization, hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the Spirit of the 19th Party Congress, and push forward all the work to create a better tomorrow for SOB.
