On the morning of August 26, 2019, President SHI Youqi led a team to inspect and guide the work of SOB for the new semester. Members of the School's leadership attended the meeting. First, Party Secretary WEI Chuanwen reported on the arrival of the teachers and students of SOB for the new semester, and briefly talked about the good spirits of the faculty and students. Next, Dean ZHU Wenzhong talked about the outcomes of last semester's key tasks, work progress during the summer vacation, and the priorities for the new semester. After the debriefing, President SHI commended the School for its work, and put forward two requirements, namely, remaining alert to crisis and strengthening quality development. After President SHI’s remarks, heads of the departments and the School's leadership carried out discussions and made constructive suggestions on the School’s work. This meeting is vital to the development of SOB.
