On September 11, 2019, freshmen orientation for 2019 International Innovation Class in Business Management (IICBM) of SOB was held in Teaching Building G401 at 4 p.m. WEI Chuanwen, Party Secretary of SOB, DING Hao, Vice Dean of SOB, HUANG Lei, Director of English Immersion Education Department, Foreign teacher Simona and other teachers as well as freshmen of 2019 IICBM attended this meeting, which was presided by Director HUANG. WEI Chuanwen expressed warm welcome and sincere wishes to the students. DING Jie briefly looked back the establishment of IIC and shared his own understanding towards it. HUANG Lei and Simona introduced the background and purpose of English immersion class as well as tips for learning in English immersion environment. LIU Shumin expounded the model of IIC Program and introduced collaborated institutions so far. After this orientation, students had a deeper understanding of the program and a more detailed plan for their future.
