At the noon of September 26, SOB held themed educational activity and symposium for ethnic minority students from Xinjiang at the first conference room in the Administration Building, South Campus of GDUFS. GUO Jia, Deputy Director of the Student Office, WEI Chuanwen, Party Secretary of SOB, members of the Student Division of the Student Office, all guidance counselors of SOB, and all ethnic minority students from Xinjiang attended the symposium. GUO Jia and WEI Chuanwen gave speeches on the employment situation of graduates of ethnic minority from Xinjiang, reminding students to be prepared for career development, clear of minority students’ management system and follow school regulations and disciplines. SOB launched a pairing system between leaders of the school and students of Xinjiang ethnic minority. WEI Chuanwen and Paziliya Kasmu formed a pair of assistance. During the free communication session, 2016 SOB students from Xinjiang, such as Maierdan Muhetar, gave speeches and shared views on various aspects of their university life. This symposium facilitated communication with students of ethnic minority and narrowed the distance with students.
