On October 27, the MBA supervisor appointment ceremony and the 105th lecture of MBA lecture series was held in Sifang Lecture Hall at north campus of GDUFS. ZENG Dexiang, Chairman and General Manager of BOSMA Corporation and President of GDUFS Entrepreneurs' Association, gave a lecture entitled "The Road from Working in Military Enterprises to Being an Entrepreneur". Professor HE Chuantian, member of the school’s standing committee of the party committee and Vice President of GDUFS, Professor WEI Chuanwen, Party Secretary of SOB, Professor YUAN Denghua, Deputy Dean of SOB, alumni and MBA students were present at this event hosted by XU Yiqing, Deputy Dean of SOB. Mr. ZENG Dexiang expounded on his growth path with "one book", "two Alma maters", and "three big military enterprises". He shared his entrepreneurial experience in six respects: the determination to start business, the difficult transformation of identity—from a state-owned enterprise to a village-level enterprise, the transformation of traditional intelligent product industry, the road of brand building, Quality Fist policy, and the exploration of internationalization. Moreover, Mr. ZENG Dexiang shared a few insights based on his entrepreneurial experience. This lecture helped teachers and students better understand what entrepreneurship was.
