On November 18, the opening ceremony of the 2019 Guangdong Public Diplomacy seminar, which is jointly hosted by Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association and Foshan Public Diplomacy Association, and undertaken by SOB of GDUFS, was held in the conference hall of the Academic Exchange Center of GDUFS. FU Lang, Executive Vice President of Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association, WANG Tinghui, Vice Principal of GDUFS and over 100 participants working in foreign affairs from Municipal Consultative Conference and Public Diplomacy Association at and above the prefecture-level cities of Guangdong Province attended the ceremony. WANG Tinghui thanked Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association for its guidance and support, and extended the warmest welcome to all the participants. On behalf of Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association, FU Lang thanked GDUFS for the thoughtfully-designed services in this seminar, and extended warm welcome to the participants. The ceremony was hosted by ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of SOB After the ceremony, participants started taking the rich courses lasting for one week. ZHAI Jun, special envoy of the Chinese government on the Middle East issues and many other experts and scholars have been invited to give lectures on diplomatic theories and practical knowledge to the participants in the seminar.
