On January 5, 2020, the SMILE Night and the industry mentor appointment ceremony were held by MBA Center in the lecture hall of the teaching building six on North Campus of GDUFS. The leaders and guests present at the event were Professor JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, leaders of Party Committee and Administration of School of Business, all teachers of MBA Center, teachers of some MBA courses, members of the China MBA South China Alliance and members of other institutions. In addition, influential industry elites from various industries gathered at GDUFS and were hired as industry mentors at this grand gathering, opening up a dual-mentor system combined with on-campus thesis mentors and off-campus industry mentors in order to strengthen teaching ability to provide more help for students' personal and professional development. More than 200 MBA students and alumni took part in this remarkable event. Professor ZHU Wenzhong, Dean of School of Business, addressed the ceremony. Director WANG Gang of MBA Center launched an initiative for the One Book, One Dream student-supporting program funded by SMILE Fund. Professor JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, issued certificates of appointment to more than 30 industry mentors present. Mr. XU Xiaoliang, a representative of the industry mentors, delivered a speech.
